Pakistan started with Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez, lost Kamran at 8.6 over at a total of 44. Indian blowers Z Khan, A Nehra, MM Patel, Harbhajan Sing, Yuvraj Sing did a very good and best job in restricting Pakistan batsmen with cooperation of best fielding form other team members. Misbah-ul-Haq scored 56 runs from 76 balls was the high total in Pakistan. Pakistan scored a total of 231/All Out in 49.5 overs.

India won the match by 29 runs. With confirmation of win Nation wide celebrations were started.Sky is the limit for celebrations among Indians. Man of the match was given to Sachin Tendulkar. By wining this match India will play with Sri Lanka in World Cup 2011 Final.
